Terms of Service

DuoCast — duocast.space

Last updated: 19 September 2026 Effective from: 19 September 2026

1. These terms

These Terms govern your use of duocast.space (the "Service"), operated by Finio Solutions ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.

2. What the Service does

You give the Service a topic. It uses AI to write a two-host podcast script, generates synthetic voice audio, renders a video with animated characters and captions, and can publish the result to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or any other publishing platform the Service supports when you tell it to.

Nothing is published automatically. Every upload is an action you take.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Your account

5. Credits, plans and payment

5.1 Minutes, not money. The Service is metered in minutes of finished video. Your plan includes an allowance; you can buy more.

5.2 How charging works. Minutes are deducted when a job completes. If a job fails, the minutes it consumed are refunded to your balance automatically. You are not charged for output you did not receive.

5.3 Payment is in cryptocurrency. Top-ups are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not accept cards and we never receive card details.

5.4 Crypto payments are final, except where our Refund Policy says otherwise. Because cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed, a confirmed top-up is normally non-refundable, and we cannot recover funds sent to the wrong address or on the wrong network. But we do refund three things, as set out in our Refund Policy:

Check the asset and the address before you send. To ask for a refund under those three cases, see the Refund Policy.

5.5 Your statutory rights are unaffected. Nothing in this section removes any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country. In Morocco that includes the rights given by Law No. 31-08 on consumer protection measures; in the EU/EEA, those given by the Consumer Rights Directive. Where such a right applies, contact [email protected] and we will honour it.

5.6 Changes to plans. We may change plans and prices. We will give notice before a change affects you, and it will never apply retroactively to minutes you already hold.

5.7 Expiry. Purchased minutes do not expire while your account is open.

6. Your content

6.1 You keep what you make. We claim no ownership of the topics you enter, the images you upload, or the episodes the Service produces for you.

6.2 A note about AI output. Whether copyright subsists in purely AI-generated material is unsettled and differs between countries. We make no promise that your episodes are protected by copyright, or that they do not resemble someone else's work. If you need certainty for commercial use, take legal advice.

6.3 Your responsibility. You are responsible for what you generate and publish, including anything you upload. If you upload an image of another person, you confirm you have their permission. Do not upload images you have no right to use.

6.4 The licence you give us. To run the Service we need to store, copy and process your content, and send the relevant parts to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. You grant us that licence, limited to operating and improving the Service. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.

7. AI-generated content — read this before you publish

7.1 Output can be wrong. The script, narration, facts and claims in an episode are generated by AI. They may be inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or entirely false. The Service does not verify facts.

7.2 You must review before publishing. You are the publisher. Check what you are about to make public. We are not responsible for any consequence of publishing AI-generated output, including damage to your reputation, platform penalties, or harm to others.

7.3 It is not advice. Episodes may touch on medical, legal, financial or historical subjects. Nothing produced by the Service is professional advice.

7.4 Synthetic voices. All narration is synthetic. You must not use the Service to imitate the voice, likeness or identity of a real person without their documented consent, or to present generated content as a genuine recording of a real person.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

We may suspend or remove content, or suspend your account, if we reasonably believe you have broken this section. Where it is practical, we will tell you why.

9. Publishing to other platforms

9.1 You must comply with them. When the Service publishes for you, your content and your account are also governed by that platform's rules. Read them. Complying is your responsibility.

9.2 We cannot control them. We are not responsible if a platform removes your video, limits its reach, demonetises it, applies a strike, or suspends your account.

9.3 Disconnecting. You may disconnect a platform at any time, which deletes the tokens we hold. Videos already published stay on the platform and must be removed there.

9.4 Shorts and vertical formats. Uploading a video that meets a platform's format requirements, including YouTube Shorts, does not guarantee that the platform will treat it as that format or give it any particular distribution.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — its software, design, models, renderer and templates — belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute it, except as the law allows.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. We may perform maintenance. Tokens and minutes you have paid for are not affected by ordinary downtime, and if we permanently withdraw a feature you have paid for, we will credit or refund the unused portion.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be accurate, original, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost audience, or lost or corrupted content.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Termination

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top shows the current version.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and the courts of Tangier have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and use any applicable alternative dispute resolution scheme.
